These are some of the proverbs of Bakado, the way of the fool. Read them, learn them, forget them, and live them, just a the True Fool would.
- The fool is not aware of his injuries and so cannot be deterred.
- The fool is unaware of illness and so is not made weak.
- The fool, unaware of defeat, will not concede to it, and so cannot be defeated.
- The fool does not know what he cannot do, and so accomplishes all.
- The fool cannot remember the wrongs you have commited, and so holds nothing against you.
- The fool has an all-embracing heart. Few can hate the fool, and none forever.
- The fool is less than everyone, but having no understanding of this, surpasses all.
- Many rally to the fool. For it is the power of the fool to inspire deepest camaraderie.
- Any fool may stand against the wind. The True Fool will endure and defeat it.
- The fool is unaware of his death and so cannot be killed.
