Rumors are spreading like wildfire that Chicago Cubs' Alfonso Soriano may be a Sith Lord. What appears to be a modified red lightsaber can be seen in the photo below. Though Soriano maintains that it is merely a "standard issue glowing baseball bat" scorch marks were found in the dugout, and several lockers had been cut in half. As is well known throughout the republic, red lightsabers are used only by the Sith.

If an inspection of Soriano's equipment does indeed prove that a lightsaber was used in game, then a formal inquiry will be held as to whether or not he also used the force to change the outcome of several games. Check back here often for updates.
