I went to the local Harbor Freight recently and found two of the coolest things I've seen in a while. One is a larger solar panel that charges 12 volt car batteries (or those jumper kits that have power connectors built in) and the other is a smaller solar panel that charges various electronics and AA batteries!

With the larger solar panel, a power pack (like the one you see in the photo, but newer since that one is used up), and a 70-150 watt power inverter I should be able to charge cell phones, laptops, gameboys, Nokia n800, and other things. With the smaller one I can charge the batteries for my digital camera, H2 Zoom recorder, mp3 player, etcetera. It'll rock!

I now run my camera on sunshine and dreams!
